Randy Orton & The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler & Alberto Del Rio

This Show was actually one of my favourites from the year so i enjoyed getting the chance to re watch it,  from the two very strong traditional Survivor Series matches to the matches for the World & WWE titles i think the was a PPV that delivered from start to finish. The under card was strong i am big fan of Antonio Cesaro & thought he had a really good match with R-Truth, to even a passable Diva's match (of which i have made perfectly clear on The Hard Way i am not a fan of). But the matches the really stand out on this card are the 3 main events, firstly Team Foley vs Team Ziggler was a real showcase for some of the lower talent 7 anything involving Mick Foley generally gets a pass in my book, Ziggler came out looking really strong & it allowed the likes of Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan & Randy Orton to have a really quality match as well. The World Title match between Sheamus & Big Show was the start of some really great PPV matches they had together & then we move on the WWE title triple threat that was a great story told by the 3 biggest names that WWE have right now on the full time roster.

I would give this release 3 stars, the bonus features show some of the great moments in the build up & fall out on Raw & Smackdown & if you are a PPV collector this is a gonna be a great addition to your collection.

This DVD shows of some of the greatest matches of the past 12 months, it gives you the End Of Era Hell In A Cell match between The Undertaker & Triple H, The Once In A Lifetime (or at least that's what we thought) match between John Cena & The Rock, The All Out War between Brock Lesnar & Triple H from SummerSlam & arguably the 2 best pure wrestlers in the world today Daniel Bryan & Cm Punk in a No DQ match from The Money In The Bank PPV (with the added bonus of AJ as special ref). those are matches that if you haven't seen them you dont wanna miss them. However i do have a problem with this DVD & i know that Trips vs Taker won the Slammy for best match of the year, but my match of the year was Brock Lesnar vs John Cena from Extreme Rules & that match doesn't appear on the set. I was a little disappointed by this.

All in all it was a fun way to recapture the year even if i didnt agree with all the choices that made the cut.

This DVD gets 3 stars

Of the back of Raw reaching the amazing 1000 episode mark, WWE put together this countdown charting the 100 greatest moments in the history of the flagship show. It makes for great watching & even me someone who can say they are a WWE history buff & had seen the majority of the episodes of Raw was left remembering things i had forgot or even to some degree things i hadn't seen. The great thing about this DVD is that even though i didnt agree with the order of the countdown i was having so much fun reminicisng that i didnt care, there are laughs tears & shocks to be had & it all adds up to a great DVD package.

The bonus features really do add to this as it goes more in depth into certain things & offers you some great matches in RAW history

I would give this DVD 3 & 1/2 stars

Go back to the days of dysfunction, disorder, and defiance. When radical antiheroes ditched “saying their prayers and taking their vitamins” for opening up a can of whoop ass and laying the Smackdown; when rebels ruled the airwaves and PG stood for “puppies and grapefruits.”

Featuring:
– The Austin/McMahon rivalry
– The invention of Hell In A Cell, TLC, Brawl For All and more!
– The revamping of Superstars’ entrance music

The Hardy Boyz & Lita Vs. Perry Saturn, Eddie Guerrero & Dean Malenko (Raw, 11/30/00)
Chris Jericho & The Dudley Boyz Vs. Kurt Angle, Edge, & Christian (Raw, 12/25/00)

This was by far & away the best DVD i got sent, i was at first a little dissapointed with the documentry portion of the set, i beleave that WWE are one of the best producers of talking head retrospectives & i felt that that part of the presentation was lacking, however this DVD comes into its own when you go to the special features with the Blu-Ray extras you are looking at almost 5 hours of matches promos & skits that are absolutely superb, i sat down and watched nearly all of it in one go. It really was a great watch.

The biggest thing i took away from watching this was that it really did capture the essence of The Attitude Era & as a fan from that period, it made me realise that perhaps looking back it really was as great as some people remember it to be.

This gets 4 stars & is MY MUST BUY TITLE of the Month
