Triple H Gets Hair Cut- Removes Pony Tail

Hunter Hearst Helmsley has done the unthinkable ... HE CHOPPED OFF HIS FLOWING GOLDEN LOCKS!!!

TMZ obtained photos of a shorn Triple H posing for pics with fans outside Titan Tower in Connecticut earlier today ... barely recognizable without his signature mane.

Triple H had rocked the long hair ever since he debuted in the WWE in 1995 ... it's unclear when he decided to hack it off.

But .... HHH has been contemplating hanging up his tights ever since he lost to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam ... and now the new 'do could be a sign that he's decided to leave the ring for good and commit to his corporate job with the WWE.

Why Christian Has Been Off WWE TV And Future Plans For Him

There has been online speculation about Christian's WWE status following his disappearance from WWE TV in the past few weeks. Christian was scheduled to feud with United States Champion Antonio Cesaro but word is that WWE officials want to keep Christian off TV until after TNA's Bound For Glory pay-per-view in October.

Christian is scheduled to appear during Bound For Glory weekend and induct Sting into TNA's Hall of Fame. This is part of the deal between WWE and TNA that allowed Ric Flair to appear at the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.

While there is no heat on Christian because he didn't choose to appear for TNA, WWE officials don't want him appearing for them while he's in the middle of a title feud on their programming. Expect him to feud with Cesaro later this year unless things change.

*Spoiler* Results For WWE Smackdown 9/7/12

Alberto Del Rio and David Otunga come out demanding action be taken against Sheamus for what he did to Ricardo. Ricardo is out there in a neck brace. They demand the Brogue Kick be banned. Booker T comes out and lets the fans vote. Naturally they vote it's legal.

*Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara beat Cody Rhodes and WWE Intercontinental The Miz.

*Zack Ryder defeated Daniel Bryan via DQ in a reverse decision deal when Bryan refused to release the NO Lock because he was screaming No at a "Yes" chant.

*Randy Orton beat Damien Sandow by countout. Dolph Ziggler was on commentary. Sandow ran from the ring when Orton went for the RKO, getting counted out. Ziggler tried to attack Orton. Orton fought him off but Sandow returned and attacked Orton. Ziggler escaped and Sandow ate an RKO.

*David Otunga argued that the Brogue Kick should be banned, so Booker T told him he would wrestle Sheamus tonight.

*The Prime Time Players defeated Primo and Epico.

*Wade Barrett pinned Yoshi Tatsu.

*Backstage, Teddy Long told Dolph Ziggler Booker T was making a bout between him and Randy Orton for Night of Champions.

*World champ Sheamus pinned Davud Otunga. Alberto Del Rio was at ringside but didn't interfere.
