News On DGUSA Talent Possibly Signing For WWE

Current DGUSA champion Johnny Gargano's contract will expire with the company this week. Dragon Gate USA officials are sitting down with him this weekend to try and work out a new deal. WWE has shown interest in Gargano in the past. He's scheduled to defend against Akira Tozawa in Taylor, Michigan tomorrow, so if there's a title change, that's a pretty good sign he's not signing a new deal.

Reported Buyrate For WWE No Way Out

WWE updated their financial numbers last night. It should be noted that the No Way Out PPV did right around 200,000 buys, consistent with what Capital Punishment did last year.

MANILA, Philippines - World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Rey Mysterio on his visit to ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda on Friday invited Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao for a tag team match against Floyd Mayweather.He said he would like to team up with Pacquiao against the pair of Mayweather and former WWE champion Alberto del Rio.“I love Manny. In fact, Manny, if you’re watching right now, I’m inviting you to join forces with Rey Mysterio in the WWE to take on “Money” (Floyd) Mayweather. I know you don’t need me to take him on but this is just a teaser: me and you versus him and Alberto del Rio,” he said.The Latino wrestler is currently in the Philippines to promote WWE’s anti-bullying campaign.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter , there was meant to be a segment on Raw1000 featuring Kelly Kelly and the other divas but the idea was scrapped.
