Location For TNA's Bound For Glory 2012



TNA IMPACT WRESTLING has announced that Phoenix will host the biggest night in TNA history. The “Bound For Glory” pay-per-view extravaganza will air to a world-wide audience on Sunday, October 14th. Tickets for the event will go on-sale Friday, August 24th.

“Bound For Glory,” presented by Direct Auto Insurance, will be held live at the Grand Canyon University Arena starting at 5pm local time with doors opening at 3:30pm MST.

The superstars of Spike’s “IMPACT WRESTLING” will headline “Bound For Glory,” including Hulk Hogan, current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode, Sting, Jeff Hardy, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, Austin Aries, Rob Van Dam, Mr. Anderson, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe, the lovely and lethal TNA Knockouts, the stars of the X-Division and many more. “Bound For Glory” will feature the winner of the “Bound For Glory Series” in the main event for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Continuing the celebration of ten years of Total Nonstop Action, this will be the biggest weekend of the year for the superstars of IMPACT WRESTLING. The weekend will feature expanded activities in the Phoenix area, including a special “Bound For Glory Fan InterAction” and the inaugural annual TNA Hall of Fame induction.  As announced at “Slammiversary” in June, the first-ever inductee is “The Icon” Sting.

“TNA Fan InterAction” gives fans a once in a lifetime chance to get up close and personal with their favorite TNA Superstars for pictures, autographs, special interview sessions and much more. “Bound For Glory Fan InterAction” will take place Saturday, October 13. News On ROH Talent Working IMPACT

According to PWInsider, ROH Tag Team champion Kenny King is backstage at Impact dressed to wrestle and is taking part in a pre-show workout led by D'Lo Brown with a number of other wrestlers.

The word making the rounds at Impact is that while King is still with ROH, his contract has expired so he's free to pop up anywhere he wants.

*Update* Dixie Carter just confirmed that King will be wrestling tonight.

TV Rating Breakdown Of WWE Raw 7/2/12

As reported before, the 7/2 edition of WWE Raw scored a 3.18 cable rating with 4.71 million viewers.

In the segment breakdown, David Otunga, Cody Rhodes, Titus O'Neil and Darren Young vs. Santino Marella, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston and Christian lost 467,000 viewers from the opener. The big surprise of the show was Alberto Del Rio's beatdown on Sin Cara, which gained 584,000 viewers - a 14% growth among teenage boys and 23% among Men 18-49.

The Paul Heyman interview and first part of Sheamus and AJ Lee vs. Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler lost 383,000 viewers. The match itself plus Heath Slater vs. Doink the Clown gained 234,000 viewers - a weak number for the 10pm timeslot. Diamond Dallas Page laying out Heath Slater and Kane vs. Big Show in a No DQ Match lost 69,000 viewers, which is very good for that time period of the show. So far out of the recent Legend returns, Vader's return has done the best by far.

Tensai vs. Tyson Kidd lost 307,000 viewers while the main event with John Cena and CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan and CM Punk gained 684,000 viewers and peaked with a 3.47 rating for the overrun.

WWE Looking For "Social Media Producer"

WWE has created two new major positions - a Social Media producer and a Live Events analyst. The Social Media producer would be responsible for voting, polling, texts and tweets on WWE's TV show as well as at live events. The producer will work with the TV production team, creative, the web team and the live events team.

WWE is looking for the Live Events analyst to creative metrics to measure the success of live events beyond ticket sales. They want the person to create models and formulas to be able to predict attendance at live events and come up with ways to maximize revenue at those shows including pricing strategies for each city.

News On Why Sin Cara Was Attacked On Raw

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter , the reason Sin Cara was attacked by Alberto Del Rio was due to Raw taking place in Laredo, Texas which is a close to the border with Mexico & WWE believed there would be many Sin Cara fans in attendance.

WNL returned to the airwaves on Tuesday July 3rd 2012 on the SNS Radio Network ( with “The Outlaw of the IWC” The TreyDawg & “Mr. Money on the Mic” JJ (ALL CAPS) $exay. In usual form the show started off talking about something other than pro wrestling as the boys talked golfing for a few minutes before being joined by “The Bronx-Father” Tony Mirabella for the RAW Recap. The boys gave their thoughts on the show leading into the money in the Bank PPV next week. After the RAW Recap JJ and Trey kept Bronxie on for the duration of the show as JJ layed out an idea to push Alberto Del Rio, redeem the US Title, and establish a few talents with one storyline….wonder if the WWE will bite on this one? JJ randown the “News of the Week sponsored by ( and a special thanks to Colin Vassalo as JJ is UFC bound later this month. Hillarity ensues as Trey comments on the rumoured 3 foot Penis of Kane…(note this was a rumoured scene that Vinny Macwanted in the movie See No Evil starring Kane) his random thoughts on AJ and so much more before reading a few emails and remembering the late Great American Icon Andy Griffith who passed away at 86 on this latest edition of WNL.
