According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, one idea discussed for the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H feud and SummerSlam is to have Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis in their respective corners. The plan would see Vince McMahon fire John Laurinaitis at Sunday's No Way Out pay-per-view only for Laurinaitis to return with Brock Lesnar with the help from WWE's Board of Directors. Vince would then side with Triple H as they build towards SummerSlam.

THQ released the following statement to RipTen: We are extremely pleased with our relationship with the WWE, and have an exclusive license for the brand through 2017. Our recent videogame cover reveal for WWE ’13 on Monday Night Raw airing May 28, as well as WWE Superstar Sheamus’ recent appearance at E3 showcase examples of how well we are working collaboratively with the WWE.

When asked why Mick Foley isnt used by WWE, Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed a source said that it is due to Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque’s lobbying, who is resentful of the former WWE champion. According to sources Levesque deprecates Foley whenever his name is broached in creative meetings. While Brian Gewirtz, WWE’s Senior Vice President of Creative Writing, feels Foley is a creative and a good performer, Levesque thinks otherwise. He says Foley ‘doesn’t look tough’ and can’t be taken seriously as an in-ring performer.
