WWE creative had at one point planned last week to replace Kofi Kingston as R-Truth's tag team partner with Santino Marella for comedic purposes. Though R-Truth and Marella partnered at weekend house shows, the idea has already been nixed.
WWE creative curtailing Mark Henry's standing in the company following a huge promotion relates to injuries and perception. Many internally have perceived Henry for numerous years as being injury prone and not tough enough to gut said injuries out.

While competing against Jinder Mahal at a SmackDown Live Event at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena on Tuesday night, Ted DiBiase suffered an ankle injury that is expected to keep him out of action for several weeks.
“Ted sustained a Grade 2 tear [on a 3-tier scale] to his deltoid ligament, and he also sustained a calcaneal fracture, or a heel bone fracture,” WWE physician Dr. Michael Sampson told WWE.com after the SmackDown Superstar was taken to a nearby medical facility for X-rays.
Check back with WWE.com for updates as more information about DiBiase’s condition becomes available.
