Audio: Wrestling News Live 1/9/12 Archived

WNL returned to the airwaves on the SNS Radio Network (www.snsradionetwork.com) with host “Mr. Money on the Mic” JJ (ALL CAPS) $exay. JJ weathered the storm solo this week due to some massive PC failures of The TreyDawg. JJ randown the latest “News of the Week” sponsored by Wrestling-Online.com including the current internet war between Warrior and Kevin Nash. JJ also randown the latest happenings from the 1-9-12 edition of RAW that saw the WTF debut of Brodus Clay and another Awkward Jericho appearance. After the final break JJ dedicated the rest of the show to phonecalls as the switchboard lit up topics discussed ranged from RAW, WWE12, HOF, TNA, WRestling in general and so much more . JJ closed out the show with a special Song of the Night courtesy of a pic from the SNS Facebook page showing Nash brandishing a Gun on this Entertaining edition of WNL.

WWE Going Back To 12 PPV's In 2012

WWE will be going back to 12 pay-per-views this year. WWE has reportedly decided to nix the second October pay-per-view - Vengeance. This means there will be several weeks of build between the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view and the Survivor Series pay-per-view.

In a cage match, Mickie James beat Madison Rayne.

Bobby Roode did a promo where he talked about Jeff Hardy's valiant effort at Genesis. He called out Hardy to shake his hand. Instead, Sting came out and said that there would be a rematch for the TNA Title tonight.

Crimson and Matt Morgan beat the Robbies. After the match, Magnus and Samoa Joe attacked the tag champs.

Eric Bischoff returned to TV doing a promo. It led to his son Garrett coming out and son shoving father into the corner.

ODB beat Winter. Eric Young was excited.

AJ Styles confronted Kaz looking for a reason why he left him last week. Kaz didn't really say. Christopher Daniels came out and brawled with AJ until Kaz pulled him off.

James Storm beat Kurt Angle to become the number one contender to the TNA Title.

Bobby Roode and Jeff Hardy went to a No Contest. The end came with Hardy about to win and Bully Ray came out and pulled the ref out of the ring.
