Smackdown Star Set For Push

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon has given the nod to Ted DiBiase and he will be getting pushed. McMahon felt DiBiase should be rewarded for his "DiBiase Posse" tailgating parties with fans. The idea with DiBiase and Zack Ryder is to reward those who come up with original ideas to get over.

It's said that independent wrestler Gregory Iron, who has cerebral palsy, has some people unhappy in WWE after his recent Twitter campaign to get him a spot in the 2012 Royal Rumble. Because of Iron's petition, some in the company feel pressured to not anger the fans who sign his petition, since WWE is so serious about Twitter these days, and they don't want to come off as cruel to someone with a disability

TV Rating Breakdown For WWE Raw 11/21/11

In the segment breakdown, the show opened at a 3.66 quarter rating for CM Punk's interview and appearance by John Laurinaitis. This ended up being the high point of the show. Zack Ryder vs. Alberto Del Rio lost 882,000 viewers while Jack Swagger vs. Sheamus and the Kevin Nash segment gained 120,000 viewers. Cody Rhodes vs. Santino Marella and Cody's angle with Booker T lost 104,000 viewers.

CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler gained 197,000 viewers, a bit weak for that part of the show, while Kofi Kingston vs. Wade Barrett lost a whopping 485,000 viewers. The finals segment with John Cena, R-Truth and The Miz did big numbers - a gain of 1,125,000 viewers for a 3.65 overrun rating.

Wrestling DVD Released Early

Was reported on WWEDVDNews.com that the Stone Cold Steve Austin DVD, that's scheduled to be released next week on the 29th, is available at some Best Buy and FYE stores in the US.

I myself can confirm that this is the case as I just purchased the DVD at a local FYE and was given in a two pack exclusive as it was paired with a past Austin release "The Stone Cold Truth".

Contact your local FYE/Best Buy to see if you're able to get it prior to the schedlued release.

Philadelphia, Boston and Manhattan are in for a rare treat the first weekend of December - as 12 stars of joshi team-up with the CHIKARA gang to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime extravaganza called JoshiMania!
For several of these lethal ladies, JoshiMania marks their first foray into the United States - while others have not appeared here in years! But you'll have the chance to meet them all prior to the events at special Meet n' Greets we're organizing in each city! These sessions will be offered to front-row-ticket-holders for FREE, all others will pay $20 for admission to the pre-show Meet n' Greet.

Bison Smith Passes Away

It's been reported by Ring Of Honor wrestling that Mark "Bison" Smith, who wrestled with the company in 2009, has passed away. He was booked to wrestle this weekend in Puerto Rico when he suffered a massive heart attack last night. Smith was 38 when he passed.

Besides wrestling in ROH, he is known to have wrestled in Japan's Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan and the International Wrestling Association in Puerto Rico.
