Live results for WWE Raw 10/31/2011

Whatsup guys and gals, and welcome to H2H for your Raw recap. Now first off let me happily say Happy Birthday to H2H on its 2nd year in operation, and also Happy Halloween. Big Raw tonight as the Muppets are set to be on the show, and I for one am looking forward to it. Well as usual don't forget to join us over at SNS Radio Network in the live chat for great discussions about Raw. Also, no WNL tonight as the guys are taking it off to go trick or treating with family. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the recap.

We kick Raw off with the Rock, but unfortunately its a taped segment, Rock talks about Cena asking for to be his partner, and the Rocks answer is hell no. Rock says that Cena wants the Rock to be his partner, but a tag partner is someone who wants to tag hands together, but the Rock wants to slap the lips off of Cena. But then Rock started thinking, he gets millions of tweets across his twitter, but Team Bring It hates Miz and Truth, and because of this reason, Cena gets his wish, at Survivor Series, Cena and the Rock will team up to face off against Miz and Truth. Rock then throws a challenge out to Miz and Truth. Rock only did this to make Cena witness that the Rock is putting boots to asses and winning. Rock says that Cena is going to witness only a taste of what will happen to him at Wrestlemania. Rock then says Rock and John Cena, never before, and never again. So Cena and Rock will team up.

1st match
CM Punk vs Mark Henry
Winner: Mark Henry

Ricardo Rodriguez comes out with Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo jumps in the ring at ADR's orders and attacks Mark Henry to cause the DQ. After the match, Punk grabs Ricardo and throws him in the ring and Mark Henry slams him.

Its time for the Muppetts, how am I going to write this? Miss Piggy just called herself the original diva when Vicki comes out and calls Piggy and Kermit livestock. Piggy and Vicki start arguining when Santino comes out, and tells Swagger that he should be warming up, because here in a minute they will be facing. Out comes Kelly Kelly who walks over and kisses Kermit as Miss Piggy is watching and starts yelling at Kelly Kelly who is dressed up as a pirate and K2 begins walking to the ring.

2nd match Divas Costume Battle Royal (#1 Contendership for Divas title)
Eve vs Kelly Kelly vs Brie Bella vs Nikki Bella vs Aksana vs Rosa Mendes vs Natalya Neidhart vs Alicia Fox vs Kaitlyn vs AJ Lee

Winner: Eve

Backstage we see Dr. Bunsen and Beaker and Bunsen tells Beaker to take a drink to Santino, as Beaker leaves the lab he bumps into Christian who pours the drink out. Sheamus walks up and scares Christian off who then tells Beaker he can't make it to the family reunion and then puts Beakers hair up as he has his. (Beaker and Sheamus are related? That explains so much.)

3rd match
Air Boom (Kofi Kingston/Evan Bourne) vs Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes
Winner(s): Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes

After the match, Christian runs down and attacks Kofi Kingston. Sheamus runs down to even the odds and clears the ring.

Backstage we see John Laurinitus texting someone, as CM Punk comes in and asks Laurinitus if he saw that. Laurinitus tells Punk he has the title match as long as Alberto Del Rio agrees to it.

4th match
Alberto Del Rio vs Big Show
Winner: Big Show

After the match CM Punk comes down and asks Alberto Del Rio for a title shot, but says that when he asks that question, CM Punk will be twisting ADR like a pretzel, and as Punk puts the Andaconda Vise on ADR, Punk is yelling at him to accept, and ADR finally accepts.

5th match Animal (Muppets) as special time keeper
Jack Swagger vs Santino
Winner: Santino

During the match Beaker gave Santino the drink finally, but Santino started to choke on it, and as Swagger turned Santino around, the drink was spat into his face and Santino rolled Swagger up.

6th match
Zac Ryder vs Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Zac Ryder

Micheal Cole gets up on the announcing table and tells everyone that the match between himself and Jim Ross will not be happening due to Jim Ross having a medical problem. So will JR show up last week? Who knows.

We see Miss Piggy backstage talking to John Morrison, Miss Piggy asks Morrison out, but Morrison says he has someone else in mind for her, and out pops Hornswoggle who kisses her on the cheek, Miss Piggy smacks Hornswoggle who runs off laughing. In walks Cody Rhodes who paper bags Kermit and walks away.

7th match
John Cena vs Miz
Winner: John Cena

After the match some guy from the crowd wearing a Ghostface costume attacks Cena, but instead gets a Attitude Adjustment and unmasked afterwards to be shown to be R-truth.

As winter brings upon colder weather and leaves continue to fall from the trees, everyone is gearing up for the spookiest day of the year, Halloween. While October brings ghoulish costumes and sugar rushes, from 1989 to 2000, the 10th month of the calendar year was also home to one of WCW’s biggest pay-per-view events, Halloween Havoc. Earlier this month, former WCW Champion Diamond Dallas Page referred to WCW’s annual October pay-per-view as the Atlanta-based organization’s second biggest event of the year, similar to WWE’s SummerSlam. (FULL STORY)

DDP isn’t the only former WCW Champion to recall the event, former WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Champions, Booker T and Big Show, also weighed in on the October annual.

“Halloween Havoc was a time when you got to see stuff you wouldn’t see during the regular events of the year,” the five-time WCW Champion Booker T said of the match variety and production of the October extravaganza. (PHOTOS)

With unique matches such as the Thundercage and the Coal Miner’s Glove Match, it was certainly one of WCW’s most popular and unpredictable events. The early Havocs also featured “Spin the Wheel, Make a Deal,” a precursor to Raw Roulette that determined match stipulations. Based on the WWE Universe’s comments on Facebook and Twitter, the theme and memorable set design of Halloween Havoc is still fondly remembered.

“From that standpoint, it was definitely like SummerSlam,” Booker added, “all the big stars of that time in WCW were always there. Havoc was definitely one of our biggest events of the year, so the competitors wanted to lay everything on the line.”

The master of the spin-a-roonie remembered his WCW Tag Team Championship Match against The Outsiders (Kevin Nash & Scott Hall) at Halloween Havoc 1996 as one of the “most competitive matches at Havoc.” As one half of Harlem Heat with his brother Stevie Ray, Booker recalled the intensity of the match with the titles on the line.

Booker also specifically reminisced about being at Halloween Havoc early in his career and how taking part of that event helped mold him as a competitor.

“When I was just a small fry, I looked at Havoc as an opportunity to be a fly on the wall, watch everything that transpired on such a big stage and see what made Superstars. It was like on the job training.”

On-the-job training at Halloween Havoc is something in which Big Show can most definitely relate. At the October event in 1995, The World’s Largest Athlete, then known as The Giant, competed in his first match ever for the WCW World Championship against Hulk Hogan. An early highlight of his almost 17-year career, Big Show joked, “I should have retired after that.”

Although he defeated Hogan for the title, The Hulkster decided to have a little bit of fun at Big Show’s expense following the match. “Hogan congratulated me and told me I had to wear the title in the airport on the way to Nitro. I was the new guy in WCW, so I didn’t realize it was a big joke. So I’m walking through the airport proud to be the champion, but people are looking at me like I’m crazy.”

Big Show added, “I’ll always remember Havoc for that — my first match, my first title and defeating a legend like Hulk Hogan was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

A year later at Havoc ‘96 as a member of the nWo, Big Show assisted Hogan in retaining the WCW World Title. asked The World’s Largest Athlete if he thought that was strange, or if his loyalties were solely with The New World Order at that point.

“The WWE Universe always remembers the nWo as Hogan, Hall and Nash,” Big Show said. “Some people forget that I was their fourth guy. In 1996, it was still early in my career and I joined the nWo to learn from those guys and find my place. A big stage like Halloween Havoc was the perfect place to learn from them. So I did what I had to do.”

The World’s Largest Athlete also agreed with his former WCW colleagues DDP and Booker T, saying Havoc was indeed WCW’s equivalent to SummerSlam in terms of importance and production, especially for him.

“Both WCW and WWE performed in front of huge crowds, and at Halloween Havoc I was thrown right into the fire.” Big Show recalled. The World’s Largest Athlete left WCW and joined WWE in 1999 and having experienced both organizations biggest events and noticed Havoc’s festive theme couldn’t compare with the Biggest Part of the Summer. “For WCW, Havoc was definitely on par with SummerSlam, but even it couldn’t match the energies of WWE’s biggest events like SummerSlam and WrestleMania.” He added.

Throughout its history, Havoc always featured some bizarre incidents and matches, even without “Spin the Whe
