News On Upcoming WWE PPV's

WWE currently has pay-per-view main events penciled in through the Royal Rumble, which is the opposite of how they have booked in recent years.

There has been talk of doing a Scramble match at the Survivor Series pay-per-view with Sheamus, Mark Henry, Christian, Randy Orton, Big Show and Kane. Henry vs. Show in a Tables Match at the TLC pay-per-view is also being discussed.

It's also said that creative has picked out a tentative winner for the Royal Rumble already, and that Superstar is from the SmackDown brand. The idea is that the winner will end up with the World Heavyweight Title before WrestleMania 28, likely at Elimination Chamber, because Daniel Bryan will be challenging with his Money in the Bank briefcase.

Report: WWE Unhappy With Reaction To Walk Out

WWE officials were disappointed at how the crowd reacted towards some of the bigger stars participating in the walkout angle, and the fact that two of the people the crowd reacted to the most were Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

TV Rating Breakdown For WWE Raw 10/10/11

As reported before, the 10/10 edition of WWE Raw did a 3.24 cable rating with 5 million viewers against Monday Night Football, the Major League Baseball playoffs and other competition. The rating was higher because the first 30 minutes this week did a 3.62 rating but from that point it declined. The final hour of RAW this week was well below normal levels.

In the segment-by-segment breakdown, the opening segment with Triple H being removed from his RAW duties and Vince McMahon returning, and the Christian vs. John Morrison match lost 224,000 viewers. Triple H and Laurinaitis' backstage segment and the Big Show vs. Mark Henry video lost 361,000 more viewers.

In the 10pm timeslot, Henry vs. Randy Orton and Eve Torres & Kelly vs. Tamina & Rosa Mendes, plus the Jim Ross firing segment gained just 132,000 viewers, which is below normal for 10pm. Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne and Mason Ryan vs. Dolph Ziggler, David Otunga and Jack Swagger lost 658,000 more viewers.

The decline continued as Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk lost 213,000 viewers and did a 2.77 quarter-hour rating. The overrun this week with Punk and Del rio vs. The Miz and R-Truth with Triple H's run-in gained 667,000 viewers, doing a 3.20 rating for the overrun

News On Mick Foley Possibly Returning To WWE

It's widely expected that former WWE superstar Mick Foley will be returning to the company in the next few weeks, with Foley himself even teasing his return in recent interviews and on twitter.

According to a source in WWE, there's been a lot of talk behind the scenes this week about Foley's return taking place around Survivor Series.

With Foley's longtime friend The Rock returning to the ring at Survivor Series and appearing on the final RAW before Survivor Series on November 14th, it's expected that Foley will make several appearances on WWE television leading up to and after the big event.

Update On Brock Lesnar In WWE 12

According to Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter,the announcement of Brock Lesnar being in WWE '12 was supposed to happen back in July of this year. There were plans to shoot promos with him in July but he wasn't in the mood. The timing just wasn't right with Lesnar, considering everything he had been dealing with.

A few weeks ago, Lesnar agreed to do the media appearances for the game to help promote it and now here we are. Lesnar is one of the big mystery roster reveals that THQ officials have been hyping over the past few months.

THQ decided they wanted Lesnar in the game once they saw how hot the Lesnar vs. Undertaker WrestleMania talk was last year.
