The Great Khali Suffers Fractured Fibula

The following was posted on WWE.com:

WWE.com has learned that The Great Khali has suffered a fractured fibula following a brutal attack by World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry on SmackDown Friday night.

Dr. Michael Sampson confirmed the devastating injury to The Punjabi Giant and that the fracture was very similar to the injuries suffered by both Big Show and Kane at the hands of The World’s Strongest Champion.

The injury occurred moments after Mark Henry impressively secured a victory against The Great Khali following the World’s Strongest Slam. Wrapping a steel chair around the Punjabi Superstar’s leg, Henry ascended the ropes and brought all of his weight down on his opponent’s leg. Writhing in pain and unable to stand on his own, the fallen giant was tended to by medical technicians and taken out of the arena on a cart.

Cody Rhodes came out and introduced a new IC Belt, or should I say, the classic IC Title, with the white strap. The belt looks amazing, and I am glad to see it back.

During the debut, John Laurinitus comes out to inform Rhodes that he is going to defend the IC title tonight, against John Morrison,

5th match Intercontinental Championship
John Morrison vs Cody Rhodes
Winner: Cody Rhodes

Backstage we see Miz and R-Truth attacking Air Boom as HHH runs in and stops the fight as other members of the roster run in to stop them from attacking.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio is the new WWE Champion.

After the match Miz and R-Truth rush the ring and start attacking everyone in the ring, including the referee's. HHH runs down, and they lower the Cell before HHH gets down. The entire WWE roster comes down and everyone tries to get in the ring, wrestlers are climbing the Cell trying to get in, and down comes the police to get in. Someone brings down a pair of bolt cutters, 2 police officers run in as they hold back the roster as the police officers handcuff Miz and R-Truth. As Miz and Truth are escorted out of the Cell, HHH attacks both and as John Laurinitus tries to stop HHH, but HHH pushes him away, and continues to attack Miz and Truth until backstage security runs out and pulls HHH off as the police grab Miz and Truth and pull them out of the arena. The camera fades as HHH is being held back and watching the police take them away.

Well that was Hell in a Cell and WOW is all I can say. That was a very good PPV with a huge ending.
