Update On Cody Rhodes Being Bloodied At Smackdown Taping

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

As reported before, Cody Rhodes was busted open bad in his match against Randy Orton. Cody was actually busted open with a shot from the timekeeper's bell.

In a rare WWE scene these days, pools of bloods were puddled up around the ring where most of the assault took place and Cody was covered in blood, from his head to his legs.

The announcer's table ended up covered in blood also as it didn't break when Orton hit Cody with an RKO on top of it.

Officials used a pile of towels to clean up all of the blood that Rhodes lost. The match will have to be heavily edited for tomorrow's SmackDown broadcast. Word is that the camera work during the bloody angle was mostly focused on Orton's face and not showing Rhodes at all.

New WWE Survey About WWE Network has a new survey up and the description reads:

This network would include all of WWE's monthly pay-per-view events to the lineup at no additional cost. Rather than having to pay for them, they would now be monthly specials with the same match quality you’re used to seeing on pay-per-view for no additional cost. These events would only be on The WWE Network."

The following other options were listed in the survey as possible programming:

* Classic footage of older promotions like WCW, NWA, ECW and the AWA.

* New non-wrestling shows.

* Documentaries.

* WWE talents hosting their favorite movies.

* Repeats of RAW and SmackDown.

* New weekly live in-ring shows.

* Daily in-studio interactive shows similar to news programs or SportsCenter.

* Interactive call-in shows hosted by WWE talents.

* Reality show with former WWE stars living in a house.

Stone Cold Steve Austin Comments On Randy Orton And Alberto Del Rio

During an interview with Powerslam,Stone Cold Steve Austin said the following about Randy Orton:

Of the other guys, I'm still waiting for Wade Barrett to grab me by the throat and let me know who Wade Barrett is. Daniel Bryan could continue to move up the card," Austin said. "I'm interested to see where Randy Orton goes next. His promos need work, and right now, he's a little one-dimensional. The crowds are digging him, but there's still another step on the ladder for him to climb to.

Orton wrote the following on Twitter:

Austin is right, there is still room for me to move up the ladder. And I will. Watch me.

The WWE Hall Of Famer then said the following about Alberto Del Rio:

Alberto Del Rio reminds me of Gino Hernandez from the old [Dallas] Sportatorium. [He is] another one who needs to work on his promos-I don't like them worth a shit right now-but he has great ability. He just needs to add a few pieces to the puzzle
