Audio:Unplugged 6/3/11 Archived

UnPlugged with JJ $exay returned to the airwaves on the SNS Radio Network on 6-3-11 to review the latest episode of WWE Smackdown. JJ gave his thoughts on all the action on a wrestling heavy edition of Smackdown from the WHC title match, to the in ring debut of Jinder Mahal. Chris Kelly of Headlocks2Headlines.com talked the latest news of the week including Chyna's recent woes with TNA, and Mick Foleys contract status with TNA,JJ talked about the speculation of Shaq going to WWE to work a program with The Big Show possibly at WrestleMania 28. After the break "The Sensational Sequel" Sean joined the show to talk the latest gaming news going into E3, JJ opened the phone lines and took several calls including topics such as Smackdown, Movies, TV and Music, RAW and much more before reading emails and ending the show with a little Tears for Fears on the latest episode of UnPlugged.

Update On John Morrison

WWE Diva Melina tweeted the following regarding her boyfriend John Morrison:

John is doing great. It's going to be awhile 'till he can wrestle again. Strength in his arm is the same since the day of surgery. He went back to the doctor this week. He's on his way to recovering. We just gave to he patient. I'm just happy he's not in pain and that He Is getting better.

Update On Post Smackdown Happening With Mark Henry

According to PWInsider, The whole Mark Henry standing in the ring for 20 minutes following WWE Smackdown was a "rib" on Mark Henry to see how long would stay in the ring before getting angry and storming off. Henry was actually told that the company would be closing the taping with a dark match between he and Sin Cara. Henry and Cara actually called spots for the match earlier in the evening.

WWE Officials Concerned With Live Smackdown Events

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, There has been concern expressed within WWE this past week regarding SmackDown live event business. When WWE did the Draft after Edge retired, the idea was that SmackDown had to be made strong enough that it could still draw on the road. It's been noted that Orton, Christian and Sheamus aren't doing good business on top and WWE went in with the idea that Orton would be strong enough to carry the brand, as far as the business side of things go. All of this likely has to do with this weekend's SmackDown shows being canceled and moved to September.
