News On CM Punk's "Macho Man" Tribute

According to :PWInsider.com, CM Punk's tribute to "Macho Man" Randy Savage on Monday's RAW was something that he came up with on his own without company officials. Punk went to WWE's seamstress and had the outfit done up before RAW.

WNL returned to the airwaves on 5-23-11 on the SNS Radio Network with "The Outlaw of the IWC" The TreyDawg and "Mr. Money on the Mic" JJ (ALL CAPS) $exay. JJ and Trey started the show off with the audio from WWE's "Macho Man" Randy Savage tribute and discussed both The Warrior and DDP's tributes to Randy Savage.
JJ and Trey ran down the "Proverbial Turd in the Punch Bowel" called MondaY Night RAW as JJ is officially done watching the show on mondays.After the break JJ and Trey ran down the news of the week sponsored by Wrestling-Online.com and opened the phone lines and had many callers chime in on RAW, Savage ,Cena, Miz and more plus read emails for the duration of the show. JJ and Trey are both feeling that pro wrestling has left them behind as JJ professes he feels like a part of his love for the product died along with "The Macho Man" on this latest episode of WNL.

* Johnny Curtis defeated Ted DiBiase

SmackDown:

* World Champion Randy Orton opens the show but is interrupted by Christian. He talks about Over the Limit and challenges Orton to another match. Sheamus and Mark Henry both interrupt. Teddy Long comes out and says the same guys are still arguing about a title shot. Christian vs. Henry vs. Sheamus is booked for tonight's main event.

* Sin Cara defeated Chavo Guerrero in their rematch from Sunday. This was better than the pay-per-view match.

* Cody Rhodes and his employees brought out more brown bags. Cody insulted the crowd until he was interrupted by Daniel Bryan to a pretty big pop from his homestate crowd.

* Daniel Bryan beat Cody Rhodes with the LaBell Lock. After the match, Cody Rhodes attacked him, layed him out with a CrossRhodes and put a brown bag over his head.

* Booker T enters the ring and invites Michael Cole in. Booker talked about Cole losing to Jerry Lawler at OTL and applauded him for apologizing on RAW. Booker wants Cole to apologize to the SmackDown fans. Booker played Cole by ducking his handshake and showing a pic of Lawler's foot in his face. Booker gave Cole mints like Lawler did on RAW.

* Backstage interview with Christian.

* Kane defeated The Great Khali. Jinder Mahal came out after the match and shoved Ranjin Singh. Khali went to help Ranjin up but ended up crushing him with the vice grip. Mahal and Khali left together.

* Ezekiel Jackson beat Heath Slater by DQ when The Corre interfered while Zeke was controlling the match.

* Backstage interview with Sheamus talking about the main event.

Tamina and Alicia Fox beat AJ Lee and Kaitlyn, who had Natalya at their side. Alicia hit the axe kick for the win.

* Sheamus defeated Mark Henry and Christian to become the new #1 contender to Randy Orton's World Heavyweight Title.

TNA Release Details For Upcoming UK Events

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) is proud to announce its return to the United Kingdom for the “2012 MAXIMUM IMPACT IV” Tour. Wrestling legends Sting and Kurt Angle head up the roster of stars from TNA’s flagship television program IMPACT WRESTLING coming to Nottingham, Manchester and London’s Wembley Arena on January 26-28. IMPACT WRESTLING recently set a record rating on Challenge TV, where it airs every Tuesday night.

World Heavyweight Champion Sting will be making his first wrestling appearance in the UK for almost a decade, while Olympic Gold Medallist Kurt Angle will shortly be arriving in Britain to speak to media and fans about the Tour.

Also starring at the events will be “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, “Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe, Knockout Velvet Sky, Mr. Anderson, Matt Morgan, Bully Ray, Mexican America and many more to be confirmed over the coming months.

Sting says: “It has been too long since I’ve been back to the UK. I promise you there will be MAXIMUM IMPACT in January 2012. It’s going to be Showtime!

Tickets for the three shows go on sale at 10am on Friday June 3. An exclusive pre-sale for members of TNA’s UK Facebook page (www.facebook.com/tnawrestlinguk) will begin at 9am on the same day.

Armando Estrada returned to WWE at the Smackdown taping in Spokane, WA, managing Tyson Kidd during a taping of Thursday's WWE Superstars. PWInsider is reporting that Estrada met with company officials a few months back at a TV Taping in Long Island, NY about returning.
