Radio: Unplugged 5/6/11 Archived

UnPlugged with JJ $exay returned on 5-6-11 to the SNS Radio Network. JJ reviewed the latest and controversial episode of Smackdown as the World Heavyweight Championship changed hands from Christian to top star Randy Orton. JJ talked the reasons why the change occured as the IWC has been in meltdown mode for a few days over the situation.Chris Kelly of Headlocks2Headlines.com stopped by to discuss the news of the week including the story of TNA changing its name to "Impact Wrestling". Scheduled to join the show was former WWE Ring Announcer and Actress/Singer Lauren Mayhew, unfortunately for reasons beyond that of the hosts her appearance will be rescheduled for another date but JJ did World Premeire her latest single "Look Inside" before going to commercial break.Crelly finished the news of the week, "The Sensational Seqeul" Sean joined the show to chime in with his thoughts on wrestling and JJ decided to have a bit of fun at Crelly's expense so a drinking game wasproposed that every time Anyone said "IMPACT" Crelly had to take a shot. JJ opened the phone lines and talked with Hollywood, L-Train, before jumping intogaming news with Sean. Sean covered some rumours over a new XBox console , "Playstation-Gate" which brought out TMBronx and Charles Shane with their thoughts on the state of the PSN. Even the Almighty Thor himself called in to see Crelly take a few shots before we learned that it was in fact Ashley...Hillarious...JJ read a few emails before wrapping the show with a little "TubThumping" by Chumbawomba in honor of Crelly who was praying to the porcelin god on this latest episode of UnPlugged with JJ $exay.

News On WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2011 And All Stars Buyrates

New Heel Tag Team Set For Smackdown

The angle with Jinder Mahal, The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh on SmackDown is supposed to lead to Khali turning heel, with the idea he's become too soft as a babyface and is no longer the monster he once was. Mahal and Khali are scheduled to form a heel tag team with Mahal carrying most of their work.

Chris Harris Returns To TNA At Live Event

Former TNA and WWECW wrestler Chris Harris returned to TNA last night at an event in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Harris teamed with Matt Hardy and lost to Tag Team Champions Beer Money. Hardy introduced Harris as his surprise partner before the match and Harris ended up taking the pin from Beer Money at the end of the match

Report: TNA Looking At Breaking Up Tag Team

Backstage word from TNA is that Chris Harris will be re-forming America's Most Wanted with former partner James Storm at some point. People within TNA are shocked to be shocked that TNA would consider breaking up the highly successful team of Beer Money.

The current longterm plan is for Robert Roode to have a singles run.

Update On The Undertaker's WWE Status

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the internal thought within WWE is that The Undertaker is basically retired, which explains former WWE Diva Michelle McCool leaving to spend more time with him at home.

Undertaker is said to be in pretty poor physical shape and whilst Taker is not fully retired, he is not expected to work another match until WrestleMania 28.

People close to Taker have talked to him about retiring at WrestleMania 28 with his streak at 20-0.
