WWE Sign DGUSA Star To Contract

World Wrestling Entertainment sources have confirmed that Jon Moxley has been offered a WWE developmental deal.
Moxley, who broke out in a big way over the last year with Dragon Gate USA as the nucleus of the Kamikaze USA Group, was originally trained by Cody Hawk and Les Thatcher.

Moxley was signed to DGUSA but the promotion has confirmed that Moxley is being released from his deal with their full blessing to sign with WWE. Moxley finished with DGUSA over the weekend and will finish with EVOLVE on 4/19 in New York City.

Radio: Sunday Night Showdown Covering WWE WrestleMania 27

Sunday Night ShowDown returned to the airwaves on 4-3-11 on the SNS Radio Network to cover WrestleMania 27 with "One step closer to Dashing" Internet Dave, Mark "The Shark" DiCarlo, Harmony "Boom Boom" Sexay, and "Mr. Money on the Mic" JJ(ALL CAPS)$exay.The SNS crew welcomed special guest host "The Outlaw of the IWC" The TreyDawg as they ran down all the action from Wrestle....errr "ENTERTAINA-MANIA". JJ was angry that the Sheamus/Bryan US Title match was a Dark match and that the show started with a 10 min Rock promo and a Wrestlemania promo and the first official match started 20 min into the show only to be The World Heavyweight Championship Match Del Rio vs Edge. The highlight of the night was not only the "World Famous JJ $exay Queso" but The Triple H /Undertaker match and the ending where a WNL fan in the front row displayed a WrestlingNewsLive.tk banner at the close of the match that was visible for 5 secs. Discussion was heavy during the Cena /Miz WWE Championship match which ended in a double count out ...until the Rock restarted the match and Rockbottomed Cena allowing The Miz to retain the championship...and then The Rock delivered a Spinebuster People's Elbow on the Reigning WWE Champion to close the show. After the final break , JJ's daughter Sienna(who is 10) chimed in on her thoughts about The Rock ...funny segment...JJ opened the phone lines and got listener reactions from the SNS Family on the show in this post show, Sean gave out the results of the PPV Prediction game crowning himself "Mr. PPV" with the host Team coming out on top for the night. JJ ended the show with a tribute to current WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels with Chances by Five for Fighting in this 5 hour Extravaganza on the SNS Radio Network located at www.sundaynightshowdown.com

Kurt Angle Claims His Twitter Account Was Hacked

Kurt Angle tweeted the following tweets claiming his account was hacked last night and the person tweet on the subject of WWE Stars "stealing his moves"

Royal Rumble Winner/WrestleMania Statistic

Following Alberto Del Rio's WrestleMania 27 loss,2011 became the fourth straight year that the Royal Rumble winner has came up short at WrestleMania.

John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge and now Del Rio have all lost the big title match at WrestleMania after winning the Rumble. The last one to win a title after winning the Rumble was The Undertaker in 2007.

April 3, 2011

ATLANTA, GA – April 3, 2011 – WWE® made history again as WrestleMania®, for the second consecutive year, became the highest grossing and most attended entertainment event in the host venue. WrestleMania XXVII grossed $6.6 million, with 71,617 in attendance. Fans from all 50 states and 30 countries were at the sold out event at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta tonight. The annual pop-culture extravaganza was broadcast around the world on pay-per-view in more than 100 countries and 20 languages.

The previous attendance record at the Georgia Dome for an entertainment event was set by The Backstreet Boys which attracted 65,658 fans on February 19, 2000. The U2 concert on October 6, 2009, which grossed $5.7 million, was the Georgia Dome’s highest grossing entertainment event until tonight.

“WrestleMania XXVII was an overwhelming success and one for the Atlanta history books. WWE would like to thank our public and private sector partners for helping to make WWE’s annual pop-culture extravaganza a memorable one,” said John P. Saboor, Senior Vice President of Special Events, WWE. “We now look forward to building on that success as we head to next year’s WrestleMania in Miami.”

WrestleMania XXVIII will take place on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL. Ticket information will be announced later this year.

Following Kurt Angle's comments regarding WWE using his moves, Randy Orton tweeted the following:

Everythings been done before as far as 'moves' go in the sports entertainment. I want to thank SCSA for the 'Thesz Press'.

And I know for a fact that SCSA got the 'Thesz Press' from Dutch Mantel.

Point being, instead of taking offense to someone using your move, consider it a sign of respect.
