Update On Triple H's WWE Return

Triple H is scheduled to return within a few weeks and is slated to appear at WrestleMania 27. The reason he hasn't been brought back quicker is because he is not involved in the Elimination Chamber angle and obviously wouldn't win, so WWE want his return to have a big impact. In terms of his role right now, he is continuing to learn all aspects of the business and has received praise at the dedication he is showing in trying to learn

Report: TNA Making Plans For Sting Return

Sting was originally scheduled to appear on the 1/31 iMPACT! show but at this point has not signed a new contract with TNA Wrestling. Dixie Carter is aware of the WWE rumor and would be disappointed if he jumped ship and left TNA. She has told creative to create a storyline for Sting's return.

Current WrestleMania 27 Plans For The Undertaker

There has been no conversation between Steve "Sting" Borden and World Wrestling Entertainment regarding a possible WrestleMania 27, but there has however been interest from both sides.

The Undertaker vs. Sting match at this point will not be happening and Undertaker vs. Wade Barrett has been dropped as the originally proposed WrestleMania 27 main event. The company has come up with a new direction for the Undertaker which they hope will steal the show - it is also slated to involve Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels in a non-wrestling capacity. The new direction doesn't involve Brock Lesnar at this point.

Press Release: WWE Officially Announces Miami As Host Of WrestleMania XXVIII

MIAMI TO HOST WRESTLEMANIA XXVIII

MIAMI – The Miami-Dade Sports Commission, Miami-Dade County, Miami Dolphins, Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, and WWE announced Wednesday that Sun Life Stadium, home of the Dolphins and other world-class events, will host WWE’s annual pop culture extravaganza, WrestleMania XXVIII, on Sunday, April 1, 2012.

The announcement was made Wednesday at a press conference at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Miami-Dade County Commissioner and Chairman of the Miami-Dade Sports Commission Jose “Pepe” Diaz, Miami-Dade Sports Commission Executive Director Mike Sophia, Miami Dolphins CEO Mike Dee, former Dolphins Quarterback and NFL Hall of Famer Dan Marino, and Miami Dolphins limited partner and Grammy Award Winner Emilio Estefan, joined WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and WWE’s Senior Vice President of Special Events John Saboor in making the announcement. WWE Superstars John Cena, The Miz, Mark Henry and Alberto Del Rio, and WWE Diva Eve were also on hand for the announcement.
